Best concert I’ve ever been to
Deer Tick was absolutely amazing in every way. The staging and pyrotechnics were superb, as was the use of the entire stadium. She had two smaller stages as well, one in each corner at the back of the stadium. Literally high fiving every audience member in between, when going between those two she walked through the audience. She played a couple songs on the piano and a couple songs on the acoustic guitar. Everyone in the audience was given a clear watch looking thing upon entry into the stadium, and these things lit up in different colors throughout the night. So in addition to the lights from the stage, the whole crowd was lit up as well, sometimes in different colors at the same time. It was like a 2-hour super bowl halftime show. I still have mine, and it’s been blinking red ever since the show ended.
